Cloth Diapering Awareness

Have you heard about the new initiative from Cotton Babies to increase consumer awareness about cloth diapering?

They've recently launched a campaign called Change 3 Things; their goal is to get 100,000 parents to commit to change 3 cloth diapers a day. Here's what would happen if they reach their goal:
- Thirty to fifty million pounds of prevented landfill waste
- One hundred million disposable diapers not purchased
- A combined savings of over $24 million in the next year
- Increased public and media awareness about the environmental and economical benefits of cloth diapering
Those are some pretty amazing statistics, right? For those of us who are fully committed to cloth diapering, it doesn't seem like such a big deal. But, we all know that, for some people, it just seems like too much work or too much expense. This campaign is a great opportunity to encourage others to just try cloth diapering - change 3 a day - to see that it's not so overwhelming.
In the week since this challenge was launched, over 5,000 parents had already committed to it - why don't you join them?
Head over to their Facebook page and "like" them to have your diaper changes counted!
